The Kindergartener’s had a lot of fun this winter making snow globes! They learned all about snow globes and their history and explored many real snow globes before they recreated the globe and base shapes on their paper. Next they learned all about local landscapes, wildlife and attractions that can be found in the Chicago land area. Then they drew a local interest picture inside of their snow globe, highlighting our area just as many real snow globes do! After coloring their picture they added the final touch by creating a tempera paint snowstorm inside of their globe. They had a lot of fun learning about snow globes and about Chicago!
